I think the problem is these ratings reflect combined opinions of Americans and their British counterparts. Checkout Suicide Kings another "underated movie"

Loved this movie. 10/10 for me by far.

And I definitely will check out Suicide Kings plus The Usual Suspects.

I agree. I have watched this movie at least five times, and I enjoy it more every time. The dialogue is superb, and the characters and story delightfully offbeat. Andy Garcia is smokin'. There are so many great actors in it.

Right there with ya! One of my favs too. Not sure why so many have never even heard of it? Anyway, I know it ranks up there on my list. Anyone know if it's available on DVD yet? Thanks for any info. ..................fp

Yes, it is. Probably cheap thru Amazon, since, for reasons I don't understand, this movie isn't very popular. I love it.
