wat wuld be ur sailor moon live action movie dream cast

Sailor Moon- katie cassidy
Sailor Murcury- ?
Sailor mars- emma stone
Sailor jupiter- demi lavato
sailor venus- ?

I think/believe they all should be Asian-American. I'd like Usagi to look like a young Naoko Takeuchi. ^_^

funnily enough the five lead actresses from Sucker Punch could all fit them if we wanted though Vanessa Hudgens as Jupiter is a bit of a stretch. If you want to bring ethnicities into this, Mars is probably the only one who looks remotely Asian and her character has a lot more traditional Asian culture than the others

* Sailor Moon/Serena - Kayley Cuoco
* Sailor Mercury/Amy - Saoirse Ronan
* Sailor Mars/Raye - Jamie Chung
* Sailor Jupiter/Lita - Alexa Vega
* Sailor Venus/Mina - Amanda Seyfried
* Tuxedo Mask/Darien - Drew Fuller
* Queen Beryl - Julia Ormond
* Jaedite - Ryan Phillippe
* Nephlyte - Jared Padalecki
* Zoycite - Ellen Page
* Malachite - Orlando Bloom
* Molly - Bonnie Wright

The Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon cast got it right. There's the perfect cast right there. It would be hard to compete against any of those girls, especially Miyu Sawai.

Still, if they made a live action movie I'd want to see a mostly Japanese cast, considering the setting is Tokyo. I don't want to see a totally white-washed, Americanized Sailor Moon; that would be like the 'Dragon Ball' and 'Last Airbender' disasters. And none of this "But Sailor Moon is blonde, so she has to be white!" nonsense. No, she doesn't. Hair dye exists for a reason, and I've seen plenty of Asian women who look good with lightly colored hair.

For the scouts and villains no comment, but Tuxedo Mask, I'd say Tom Hiddleston

People once came to me at weddings and said "You're next" they stopped when I did it to them at funerals

Oh man, I'd love to see Tom Hiddleston in a Sailor Moon movie. He might be a bit out of the age range for present day Tuxedo Mask, but I could definitely see him as future King Endymion!

I think it's a bit of a mistake to attempt to cast the inner senshi (especially Sailor Moon) because they're all supposed to be about 14 or 15 at the start of their adventure. The story after all is about a young lady coming of age as a young woman which is why Rini's story almost as important as Serena's.

Therefore, it's everyone else that should be cast as their numbers are older but remain much easier to place into a role.

Queen Serenity - Charlize Theron
Luna - Viola Davis
Artemis - Idris Elba

Sailor Uranus & Neptune - really tough these two because they would have to have the maximum amount of chemistry on screen to be effective characters. I'm thinking that they might have to be up and coming actors. Or maybe we can get away with putting Jennifer Lawrence in for one of them.
Sailor Pluto - Olivia Wilde
Sailor Saturn - Rinko Kikuchi (for older Saturn)

Famke Janssen would be the absolute best choice for Queen Beryl.

I have an unbelievably long ignore list.

Sailor Moon: Elle Fanning
Sailor Mars: Bella Thorne
Sailor Mercury: Chloë Moretz
Sailor Venus: Katherine McNamara
Sailor Jupiter: Alyson Stoner
Sailor Chibi-Moon: Maggie Elizabeth Jones
Sailor Pluto: Jodelle Ferland
Sailor Uranus: Not sure...
Sailor Neptune: Michelle Trachtenberg
Sailor Saturn: Joey King
Queen Serenity: Paula Malcomson
Tuxedo Mask: Sterling Beaumont

I tried to keep the ages as close to the original as possible because it's annoying when Hollywood casts 25+ year olds has high school students when they don't look it lol

I have no idea, But I actually wouldn't mind seeing a good live action American Sailor Moon. I know some people are gunna think thats the worst idea ever. But I think if they can do what they did with Edge of Tommorow, then that would actually be kinda cool.

Even tho Sailor Moon isn't the best anime, but they make it better. Most super hero movies change the source material to fit the times more anyway, like X-men comes to mind.

For me Sucker Punch is as close as we've gotten to a live action Sailor Moon so far. It even has the Jesus metaphor w/ Babydoll. Holy *beep* that movie is basically just a really dark fcked up version of Sailor Moon!!

But yeah a live action could work I guess. I find it hard to really imagine it. It just better not get whitewashed. And it being an 'american' version is no excuse, it being American provides even more opportunities for diversity. It's gross what America is doing with their adaptations of Ghost in Shell and Akira, if this ever gets done they better not fck up w/ this too.

She would just need a blonde wig

Natasha Liu Bordizzo,who was in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 2 I could see as Rei/Sailor Mars
