shareI have just seen this movie (again) in the spanish tv, and there is a sex scene between Sharon and Rusell, the night before their duel.
Don't you have that scene in the american version?
ok for all the nonbelievers, if you look at the scene properly, she is not wearing any underwear and her(?) shirt is riding up a bit while her lower body is covered only by the blanket when she wakes up in another man's room in his bed..
Now even if for some reason she decides to stay in the kid's room the previous night, why would she willingly take off almost all her clothes, doesn't that seem like an invitation! The kid does wake up first, so unless he was a REAL gentleman.. And if she didn't undress herself, who did?
Her comment about him puking and passing out could be just her way of telling him that he was not to mention what may have happened between them any further. The kid certainly seem to take the hint.
Further I don't think her being with the kid was such a complete accident, why would she risk getting drunk on her first night in town, especially in a bar with such notorious characters, bit dangerous..

I just spent I-don't-know-how-long looking for that scene in the movie; slap upside the head, it was at the Beginning! Could anybody tell me what time it starts? you know, __:__:__ in the movie? I got to the Ellen/Cort oral sex scene and thought, "Oh, I must have imagined all that stuff about The Lady/The Kid, plowing endlessly back and forth in the European release that's on YouTube, sometimes. I ordered a DVD from Amazon and I wonder if it is going to have the sex scene that was cut; hey, it's from Amazon, mothership of IMdB, so if it does not, I shall simply send it back within 30 days. Maybe I'll just go over there right now and start watching from the part where The Lady signs up for the single-elimination gunfighting contest. What a great movie. I saw it in 1995 in the theater! First day, in San Francisco. I got comp tickets from Golden Gate Western Wear proprietor Bill Knudsen --- the guy who made all the hats for the movie!!!! Yes, including -- you name it, every one of those hats is absolutely priceless; I bought the one (so to speak) that Herod wears. Some day I'm gonna get one of those hats like The Kid sports in that movie.
UPDATE: sometime after the twenty minute mark. I forgot to check the time exactly. It's all like it says in this Thread supra; and it's all like they left something out, something that maybe someday will be "restored". Kind of like the "rape" scene in High Plains Drifter, a movie that The Quick and the Dead shares a few things with, like the Divine Retribution theme, avenging the Dead Marshall, for example. Ellen and Fee have a couple drinks together, play some cards -- told to us in retrospect the next morning, as she's buttoning up. "Don't plan the wedding", she tells him. Someday we'll get to ask Sharon Stone whether her character made love to The Kid.
