Loved this
This film is just shy of 3 hours 30 minutes, discounting the credits.
It's an immense piece of history, and it was very enjoyable. Oliver Stone made another really good film based on true events.
It's really well put together, and the archived footage was great to see.
There's an enormous amount of familiar faces in this. It was quite astonishing.
I thought Anthony Hopkins for the most part did a really good job. Nixon had a unique way of speaking and with his tone of voice, he is probably not that easy to emulate. Hopkins did well in that sense, although it was noticeable that he veered away from how Nixon spoke in certain scenes, and almost spoke like Anthony Hopkins. Also, the way Hopkins smiled seemed really forced/fake.
The rest of the cast did well. James Woods and Powers Boothe did really well.
Another piece of history worthy of being a cinema piece.
Definitely worth a watch.
