Why is this film rated so low??
I can't believe how low this film is rated! It was brilliantly funny, touching, and just a great film overall! I have to say that I'm very surprised at the low rating!

shareI think not everyone agrees with you on that... it wasn't funny as a comedy and *way* too cheesy to be touching... ATM I'm watching the great "make-up" scene (where he asks her to marry him) and the shivers are literally running dowm my spine. If this drivel continues for more than fifteen minutes, I don't think I will sit this one out.
And that is, with straight 8 ratings for Love Actually and "4 Weddings", and good marks for Notting Hill and "Music & Lycircs".
Brr.... It got cheesier. I quit where he crashed into the cyclist and then screamed nearly al the way until he met Robin Williams in the hospital.
This must be the lowest point in the carreer of Hugh Grant... the poor man is not suited for "physical" comedies. His strong point is "dry", undercut humour.
A 4 it is, alas.

This is one of my favorite movies too. Very funny, and when you are blue, this a great "pick me up" movie. Trust me, it works all the time....

I love this movie.....and the ending was soo cute, where they're dancing with the baby... I honestly fell in love with that adorable little baby at the end...sooo precious!!!
shareI don't know why. I thought the movie was funny but it had heart at the same time. It was throughly enjoyable. I would rate it at least a 7.
"Why... so... serious?"
Because it wasn't very good. I just saw it tonight. Now I know why I put off seeing a Hugh Grant/Tom Arnold movie for 13 years.
shareThis is a very good fun film IMO. THe fact that ive seen it before and wen it comes on tv again i can watch it again i know its a good film
It is funny though and i laughed out loud a few times
