Am I the only one who like this movie....

Don't know why but I love this movie - I love the location, I love joely Richardson, I just really liked this film... and I can't explain why.

I loved this movie, like I loved Prancer. In both films, children made adults believe in something ridiculously unbelivable, for the love of the child. But that's what childhood is like, given a chance. And if we can revisit this kind of feeling after we're all grown up, THAT is the magic. Angel Dog is a good one, too. It centers not on a child, but the child in adults who are hurting and vulnerable. Great trio, I own them all.

Set, and filmed, in Scotland, with the added bonus of James Frain playing a good guy? This film is an absolute favourite of mine.

I may not be able to prove that God is real, but you cannot prove that God is imaginary.

It's a damn good movie, that's why. The story works because the characters are all well realized. This is the best, most nuanced work I've ever seen from Ted Danson. It's heartfelt; and for me works in all the ways that bigger-name pullers of heart strings don't. I've seen this movie several times, and it's only gotten better. Just found out you can get a widescreen DVD from the UK. Great news, since my player is all-region.
