So the moral of this movie is white people are bad and black people are

good?

Or is it that out of shape, fat people can beat the s*** out of dudes on steroids as long as the fat person is black and the steroid guy is white?

Sure John Singleton, whatever you say.

It's this movies fault that school shootings started happening! The first one was Columbine and that happened after this movie was made, now we got school shootings every year and it's movies like this that put ideas in the heads of bad people.

reply

Part of this movie was based on a shooting that happened at a college in 1965. Shootings are nothing new. School shootings are a bit newer but are still decades old. Check your facts pal.

I'm watching it for the first time since I saw it in a theater in 1995. The 'roids maniac who looks like he could bench press 300+ pounds could have absolutely destroyed all four of the other guys by himself.
I forgot how f--ing stupid this movie is. I hate almost everyone who is in it, too. I don't like how Singleton seems to want us to side with the black guys even though they were the biggest as--les in the beginning of this film.
Did he think that their d--k moves were cool and warranted?

reply

Actually both sides are shown as being ignorant and insensitive throught the movie with no one coming out on top in the endend because of their actions.

reply

Bingo! I'm glad someone was paying attention.

If we wanna hear you talk, I will shove my arm up your ass and work your mouth like a puppet!

yea, that fight scene was corny, but at least the blk guys had some cuts & bruises afterwards. some movies show rediculous fight scenes & nobody has any injuries. lol

Man please muscles don't mean s#!t. I saw a musclebound dude get his ass whupped by someone half his size in the gym. You really can't take this film seriously. Not only is it about racism, it's about a person trying to fit in. From BOTH perspectives.

I think the moral is that kids who go to college are f^cked up in the head and not very likeable. And that if they manage to graduate they'll probably be even more f^cked up in the head and probably even LESS likeable.
