I will say that you personally were never a slave and that's probably true. I will also say that as a white person I have experienced discrimination. At my junior high school in LA white kids were the minority and were bullied everyday. Once my mother was late picking me up from school and a friend of mine (half Indian half black) saw her mom drove up and I asked her if I could get a ride home. She walked over to the car, had a heated discussion and then moped back to me. She said that her mother did not allow white people in her car. I was 13 years old and left at school over an hour late. This woman looked at my race and not my age. Who leaves a child alone in front of a closing school??? There are numerous other examples I can elaborate upon but I feel that this gets the point across. Just please don't say that I don't understand being discriminated against for the color of my skin because I absolutely do.
