Why so Anti-White and Anti-Male?

How come everything in this movie is anti-white and anti-male? I just think that every stereotype was blown way out and the movie had no support for a white guy. And why werent there any other cops that were latino or black? All cops arent white like they were in the movie. And last time i checked a fat guy prolly wouldnt be able to beat up a juicehead on a punch for punch battle.

this was a horrible movie, pretty much racist against white people with a black guy at the helm what can you expect? black people hate white people. they hate the fact that we have jobs and take care of our famlies. they hate our stability. they hate the fact that we aren't a bunch of ghetto dwellers selling crack on every street corner. we white people don't have to nazi nutjobs, we just go to our jobs or school and do what we need to and support our families. we do what we are supposed to do without the goverment giving us a free handout. black people on a larger percentage get welfare and food stamps as a group. black people are lazy. they want it given to them instead of earning it. it is sad but true. this movie is racist against white peole and pretty much a hate crime.

Lol. I'm black and I co-own my own business, I know how to speak properly, never have used government assistance, I've never lived in the hood (hell I grew up in Seattle), I've never touched crack or any hard drugs, and I am far from lazy (well except after a hard day of working).

You shouldn't shout racism if you yourself are a racist.

@Albert

Oh, shut your whiny racist a** the *beep* up! At least 37% of white people are on welfare, and they live in their own ghettos---I don't see you bitching about them getting some handouts or whatever---stop trying to act like white people are so damn perfect or something. Trust me, if black people hate white people, it because they have always hated US first---look at how we were treated like s*** from the time this country started.

And another thing---as a black person I'm tired of hearing that "free handout" bull****! Exactly where the *beep* are these free handouts you stupid racists always claim black people are getting? You always spout that stupid s***, yet you NEVER provide any damn evidence of that WHATSOEVER. Hell, you must be getting these mythical handouts all for yourselves, 'cause I damn sure have never gotten any! The movie isn't racist against white people---you just can't deal with the fact that some white people were depicted in this film as the villains for once. White people aren't always the heroes they're shown to be in Hollywood movies---ain't a damn thing racist about showing that. Now get the *beep* over yourself and get a damn life!

But can we agree that this film is a total POS? Can't we find some common ground on this?

Take your own advice. And your little comment about the "race card" being thought up by a "rich white dude", pfft! Show some DAMN EVIDENCE of this.

Don't put the devil in the picture, cause' the religious groups won't wanna see it.

Way to go on the generalization there dingus.

Because it is a John Singleton movie, and his movies usually follow the same theme - black people are good and oppressed while all white people are frightened racists.

reply

you dont know? For the past 20 years or so, in movies, it's been the cool/popular thing to make white people look racist/dumb/cruel, etc...

18 years old and people still come on here to demonize a film.
- Malik is not portrayed as a perfect person, the majority of the film focuses on his own immaturity and unwillingness to accept his own faults.

- Remy is portrayed as the most tragic figure in the film. The man isn't racist, he's an outsider that hasn't been able to identify with anybody. No group openly accepts him as he is as quickly as he wants to be until he runs into the brotherhood. You give a person that's easily swayed a figure to direct his anger at and he'll believe whatever you want him to believe in.

This movie isn't anti-white or anti-male. The fact that you think it is either is simply an indication of your own prejudices. p.s. I am both white and male.

When Remy goes in the room and bashes Malik and the Jewish student. , you get to see how the movie tells society how to act.

The Jewish student remains calm and suggest they get help.

Malik gets violent and goes on the attack chasing Remy.

And in another scene the police ask the black crowd to disperse. Right away the black crowd curses at the police, resists, claims racism because whites were not asked to leave 1st.

Then cops walk over to the white crowd, has to ask them once to leave and they quietly disperse.

Its movies like this that send the message for certain races to act like that.

Horrible message
