Anthony Michael Hall is a better fit for Tommy Doyle in Halloween Kills than Paul Rudd, who played the character in The Curse of Michael Myers.

I agree. Rudd just looks like a goofy skinny jewish kid here. Not really a "Tommy Doyle" in appearance.

Paul Rudd was too big of a star to appear in the new Halloween movies by that time.
