Lets see...since this is a Brooks film it's a tad hard to pick them out...but I would have to say it's when Van Helsing and Harker are standing over Lucy's(I assume) body and it goes somethig like this:

VH: "She's the undead!"

Harker: "She's alive?"

VH: She's Nosferatu!"

Harker: "She's Italian?"

"Why don't you come back to my house and I'll show you my man-sized manicotti?....beutiful!" - "Pop" Gustavson

I love when Reinfield arrives to the castle and he is sleeping and the vampire girls comes. It's just cracks me up when he says in a very british accent: What aaare you ding with the furnitures?!!

Dracula: Paplay....

reply

When they stake Lucy:

Johnathon: Oh My God, there's so much blood!
Van Helsing: I know....We should have put newspaper down.

Or

When Dracula tells Reinfield to lose the tail and meet him at the house. All Reinfield does is run round in a circle and say...

Reinfield: That's it, I think I've lost them.

reply

Possibly the funniest gag in any movie...!

Renfield: I'm shheduled to meet Count Dracula.
Villager #1: Dracula!
Villager #2: Dracula!!
Villager #3: DRACULA!!!
Villager #4: Shheduled?

I have to agree that the staking scene was quite funny. The look on Harker's face was brilliant (and authentic to, according to the 'trivia' section).

*Renfield's laugh as he opens the door on the ship*

"Of what?"
"My theory!"

"The theory of yes... or no..."

There was this song that started out "Yes, we have no bananas/We have no bananas today." The line follows the rhythm of the song exactly.

reply

Loooool, I didn't know that! I just thought the line was funny because of the way the great Harvey Korman says it and because it's just random and convenient that he would have received Nosferatu the very day he's asked for it. Genius.

Hahahahaha! Thanks for explaining that. I always thought the line was hilarious the way he said it, and for years my friends & I would quote it, but now I finally know why it's so damn funny.

Mel Brooks did a similar gag in Young Frankenstein when Gene Wilder arrives at the train station and asks some random kid, "Pardon me boy, is this the Transylvania Station", and the kid answers "Ya Ya. Track 'venty nine. Oh... you want a shine?"

Original song
Pardon me boy, is that the Chattanooga Choochoo?
Track twenty-nine boy you can gimme a shine...

Mel Brooks = FREAKING GENIUS

I love the whole movie but my favorite 2 lines are from when Dracula just wakes in up his coffin. The first is when he rises straight up and into the chandelier and he goes, "i Should move the coffin, or the chandelier". My other fav line was "I was having a daymare". But theres so many great line in the movie. Of the top of my head another great one is the whole section where Renfield is thrown in jail then let got seconds later for gd behaviour
