Martin Sheen's 5 minute role was brilliant

Everyone in this movie was great along with Martin Sheen. Anyone else thought his role as the Judge was very Powerful?

He had good points but I hated his "a real war" comment.

Vietnam sure was real for all the people who suffered from it.

I found that comment a little weird. Would a judge who is also a veteran say something like that back then? Of course there was a lot of anti-war sentiment at the time but I feel a vet wouldn't criticize another vet like that. I've never been in the military so I don't know...

Alot of WW2, and Korean war vets had that attitude in the 60s, seemed to change some in the 70s , probably had some of their kids coming back or killed by then

"Brilliant" is just the right word - it's unexpected and he absolutely commands the screen in those 5 minutes. However, when Anthony throws the chair at him in a fit of rage... that's f'n priceless.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!
