Clint Eastwood directed movie without a rape scene???

Is this the only one?

Are there rape scenes in Richard Jewell, 15:17 to Paris, Sully Bronco Billy or Flags of Our Fathers?
Which of his movies have rape scenes?

High Plains Drifter (obvious rape)

A Perfect World (attempted rape at beginning)

Grand Torino (implied gang rape of Asian girl)

The Outlaw Josey Wales (the attempted rape of Sondra Locke)

Sudden Impact (Sondra Locke raped)

The Gauntlet (Sondra Locke again threatened with rape)

Pale Rider (attempted rape of Megan)

Tightrope (serial killer raping and murdering women)

Unforgiven (cutting of the prostitute at the beginning)

Absolute Power (Christy Sullivan is beaten, choked, shot)

Mystic River (murder of Katie)

That is quite a few. The only ones I knew were HPD and OJW. However, I have not seen most of the others.
I’ve never understood the idea in old westerns that killing the culprit afterwards makes up for the rape. It’s like the old Kenny Rogers song coward of the county. After the wife has been gang raped, its not much consolation that the guys have been killed. Someone should have acted beforehand.

What do you conclude from this?

reply

My thought exactly...

A lot of his movies also feature murders, shootings, beatings... doesn't mean that he has the mind of a murderer, or endorses it.

I suspect OP is just s**t disturbing for its own sake.

Maybe. Or he might be on to something, who knows.
But we'll never know if all he does is throw stats at the wall and hope something sticks, without proposing at least a semblance of interpretation or argumentation.

"A lot of his movies also feature murders, shootings, beating"

And oftentimes, Clint is the one being beaten up in his films...

In a lot of Eastwood's movies he shoots guys, yet in real life he has never shot anyone. They're movies, and it's acting.
