Could Drew Barrymore have made a good Harley Quinn?

If she of course, wasn't already been used here as one of Two-Face's henchwomen. I say this because Drew Barrymore is one of those celebrities whose whole public persona screams "manic pixie dream girl". Harley Quinn herself, is essentially what you would get if you took the "manic pixie dream girl" trope but made it something dark.

Of course, I don't know if Drew Barrymore could plausibly play a villainous character. The only movie that I'm aware of in which she portrayed what could be considered an out and out villain (besides Batman Forever of course) was Poison Ivy.

She could probably still play a viable Harley but I think for now Margot Robie has that locked up.

Harley Quinn in 1995? I personally would choose Fairuza Balk. Jaime Presley if we're talking late 90s or early 00s.

If you've ever seen Drew Barrymore as Amy Fisher back in the early '90s, with her off-putting gruff Long Island girl accent, that's how I would imagine her sounding like as Harley Quinn.

Meh. I like either Fairuza Balk, Marisa Tomei or maybe Jennifer Tilly, but she'd be a better choice if the character were in the 1989 movie instead. Same with Madonna.

Drew Barrymore would be better as Poison Ivy imo. I could just imagine her looking amazing with the plants all around her in that characters outfit.

Heck, Angelina Joelie would also be a great choice as Harley Quinn in 1995 imo. Her role in "Girl, Interrupted" from 1999 is pretty much what she'd have been like as that character and I dig it.

It was the 90s. it was a weird time I dont think a good batman could have been made. although Burton was still good back then so im curious. He expertly handles penguin and cat woman I would have loved to see riddler and two faced in his hands.

Now I think he is a hack fraud and sucks..

A blonde Debi Mazar (Spice) would make a better Harley than Drew Barrymore (Sugar), Debi Mazar just has that wild look about her, more so than Barrymore.
