I wasn't keen on Gimme Gimme Gimme when I first watched it, but it's grown on me.

Looking back, it's very 90s, if you want something particular to that decade (even if it spilled into 2000).

A gay character like Tom, and a black male character like Jez, would be very different in a comedy today.
