I am an American, but I prefer british comedy a lot of the time. The problem is I don't have any idea what other britcoms are worth watching. My favorites are: The Thin Blue Line, Only Fools and Horses, and Allo Allo. Can anybody give me the names of a few more good shows? Thanks in advance!

shareI know you posted quite a while ago, but please check out 'Prospects' on DVD. This TV series from 1986/87, was only two series long and is much lamented by fans. It is about the struggles of 'Pincey' & 'Billy', two jobless and hapless anti heroes, who have hystetical adventures in their quest to make a few quid. Read the Wikipedia page I co-wrote relating to the show.

shareI found "Is it legal?" tonally similar to "The Thin Blue Line". A different kind of gem is "Drop The Dead Donkey", but I think then you really have to appreciate '90s cultural and political history.
