At the end of the intro sequence to Voyager (which is the best intro of all the Treks) the ship goes to warp and disappears into a nebula that is colored red, white, and blue. The nebula also looks sort of like a bird. An eagle or phoenix maybe? Anyway, the red, white, and blue colors seem like intentional picks from a design perspective, and it makes it seem pro-American and patriotic.

And some readers thought it was an allegory for the USA because the flag of Guarania had red, white, and blue stripes. I guess I never noticed those blue stripes in the American flag!

shareThe only thing I noticed is that these intro's r waaay 2 long, that 2+ mins eat up the shows run time, and most of these plots r already rushed. They often dont have enough time 2 tie up all the loose ends that most of the plot-stories require. So I'm against these long intro's. THey should do intro's like on Spin City, (very short). Baywatch had pretty short into's as well.
