Confirmed on this "Masters of Genre" podcast, Tracy Torme is currently working on 'rebooting' the show, hoping for it to be a mix of new and returning cast members (he's talked to Cleavant Derricks, Jerry O'Connell, and John Rhys-Davis), he also reveals that he's facing enormous challenges as some of his pitches have been met with unease, as they pull no punches and won't be 'politically correct' or 'woke'.

What happened with the relaunch?

Torme was in talks as recently as 2 years ago but no one wants to finance it. I feel at this point it's too late. Jerry is 50 year next year.

Loved the first couple of seasons, then it went downhill. Don't really think it needs to be rebooted.

Tracy Torme just died, I guess there goes any hope of a reboot.
