Stuck FOREVER (for all eternity) on an airplane in the sky...

I've asked this question several years ago and didn't get a definitive-answer so thought I'd ask again. Is there any film in which this situation happens? The plane will either never run-out of fuel or no longer requires it. Communications with airport towers, other planes and with anyone else have been cut. No danger of them hitting another plane, bird or anything else. They just harmlessly pass through it like a ghost (even if still solid, so it would be phasing). The other planes and persons on the ground can't see them, but the people in this plane may or may not be able to see them. So they're now invisible to the eye as well as radar. Or course the plane is full (all seats taken) and may have a stowaway or two making it overcrowded. There's little to no food (they no longer need it although they still get hungry). Bathrooms don't work (again no longer need it although still get the feeling of having to go, 1 or 2). Air-conditioning no longer works so it's hot, humid, stuffy and sweaty. So it's basically Hell in an airplane minus the Hell-fire, Satan or any demons.

This doesn't happen like this in The Langoliers (1995):

Most of the passengers on an airplane disappear, and the remainder land the plane in a mysteriously barren airport.
Thanks for any suggestion (IF one exists) in which this happens!

In other words: they feel the sensation of hunger, yet suffer none of the deleterious effects that come with it?

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing .

, they would eat if there was food in front of them...but if not they wouldn't starve-to-death. They could live forever without eating or drinking, but they'd still for all eternity feel hungry and thirty. They'll feel starvation, but with suffer no ill effects from it.

There is a TZ episode where astronauts are looking for something on a newly explored planet. When they land the crew wants to do one thing and the Captain decides to do something different and they die. Then it starts overy and the narrator says they are doomed to repeat this for eternity because the captain had such a strong hold over the ship and crew. Sorry for the lack of detail, it's been a while since I watched it.

Sounds like your typical Ryanair flight.
