I'm surprised to see that IMDB users have collectively given this movie a 6.1 rating. I thought the movie was really good. The plot was well-directed, the cast was amazing and therefore the acting was spot on. It was easy to develop a sense of empathy and sympathy for the characters. Very suspensful. And a great ending. The movie is much better than the rating. Anyone feel different? If so, please share.
shareI just watched this with my kids (7 & 10) and they enjoyed it. It scared the crap out of them. It's been a while since I have seen it and I forgot how much I liked it. Everyone gave great performance. Amazing cinematography!
shareI watched it from my directv dvr and it shows both the critic and viewer ratings as around 50%!!! Anyone who thinks this movie should be around a 5/10 would have to be mighty critical of the tiniest things because it was a very good movie. People baffle me with their ratings. Some total crap movies get a 9/10 from critics, yet good ones get around a 5/10.
