I love it too! It's the best romantic movie. Haven't seen it in a couple years. Hmmmm... it would make for a good Valentine's Day movie tomorrow :-) Cast was amazing. I liked the chemistry between all; Robert Downey Jr, Marisa Tomei, Bonnie Hunt, and Fisher Stevens.

Great scenery. I visited Italy after this movie and went to the same places as the film! Lastly, great plot... unique story.

My favorite quote from the film is when her brother is on the roof on the phone with the credit card... "Four hundred dollars from the La Sirenuse Hotel in Positano? Where is Positano?... in Mexico?... Italy? My wife's in Italy? What the hell's she doing in Italy? She's only been gone hours... Huh? I'm sorry, ma'am. Have a nice day then... My wife's in Italy!"

You know how there are some movies you just love, even though you know other people just won't "get" them? This is one of those movies for me. It's so sweet and romantic and just perfect in every way. How can you not feel heartbroken for RDJ when she tells him she's in love with the podiatrist? At the same time, I know there are going to be lots of people who just won't see what I see in it. So I try to save this movie for people who will love it just as much as I do, or at least can appreciate everything I see.

Other movies like this for me are Sabrina (with Harrison Ford), The Lake House, and Fever Pitch. I love them but I can understand how other people might not.

This is one of my favorite movies. Like many, I have watched it over and over and enjoy it every time! Marisa Tomei looked so fantastic. I loved her wardrobe and her hair. The short cut was so cute on her! I took a picture to my hair dresser back then to show him. I can't believe it came out in 1994, that it's been 14 years already! Wow, and it's still so fresh. It doesn't seem dated at all. That is the sign of a great movie. :-)

I love this movie. Already been said, but don't care. It is not redundant.

I have such a soft spot in my heart for this movie. It came out the year I met my husband. We went on our own romantic trip to Italy a few years later. Love Marisa's energy and attitude. I try to be idealistic and romantic as she, damn the torpedos !! Robert D Jr is perfect. I've always loved him (pity about his drug-addicted period. So glad he is past that). This is one movie I will watch again and again.

and then you betrayed your husband with a tall dark italian man, and helped your sister in law cheating on your brother?

i mostly will not be able to answer your reply, since marissa mayer hacked my email, no notification

'

What the hell are you talking about?

She was engaged in the movie, not married. And it wasn't a cheap and nasty affair, they fell in love. They didn't sleep together, only kissed.

As for her sister in law, she didn't cheat on her husband. She was "romanced" by a charming man but realised in the end how much she loved her husband. Her husband went all the way to Italy to get her, which was romantic in itself.

Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want.

I don't usually like Romcoms. They're my most hated genre usually. But I'll make an exception in this case. It's fun.

And I'll so make a dork of myself in the cinema two weeks from now when yelling "don't believe him! His name is not Damon Bradley!" *lol*

Wonderful Movie! I love Marisa Tomei and I thought she absolutely shone in this film. The chemistry between all the actors in this film was fantastic and the scene at the end in the airport was a great idea showing the difference in priorities between the U.S. and Italy.
