Another good Australian one is "Strictly Ballroom" about a guy who competes in competitive ballroom dancing but wants to do his own steps, though that is against the rules. His partner quits on him and he has to find a new one. I really enjoyed it. I think it's from '92. It has Paul Mercurio in it. He is older now and looks a bit different these days but in this movie he was very good looking.
