Not a funny as I remembered

It's true - you can never go home again.
Unless a young Cameron Diaz is there - YUM Unfortunately hasn't aged well. That's prolly why she abandoned Hollywood.

It's supposed to fun rather than funny. And it sure as fuck still is fun.

reply

I think its still hilarious and re-watch it from time to time.

I had the same thing when I watched Ace Ventura a few years ago. Didn't find it as funny as I remembered.

jim carreys only funny film is cable guys.

his only other good film is truman shows.

he is generally unfunny and have limited talent.

he was around in 1980s, but was not good enough to get into film when hollywood made much better standard of film in 80s. he become superstar in 90s when hollywood begin making more medioker film. he have mass appeal to generics audience. his film is not that good.

reply

I will admit his funniest film is Liar Liar.

It was always a dark film, even I knew that as a kid. Yes, there is comedy, but it is almost always second to the dark, dirty, gritty nature.

reply

It was even funnier this time.

But the movie didn't feel as "massive" as the first time.
It felt very short and B-movie ish.
