Natalie Portman should do a sequel.

I think a sequel would’ve been better when Natalie was much younger. Maybe a story about Mathilda entering adulthood and still trying to find her way in life.

nah, finding "her way" as an kickazz assassin would be a much better sequel and story line.

The role of assassin would definitely be included in my version of the story line as well, but I would’ve preferred a sequel when she was much younger.

That was the plan but she got too old, supposedly.

But then Luc Besson went and made Columbiana so I don't fucking know. Maybe Portman just didn't actually wanna do it anymore.

I didn't care for Columbiana. I'm glad it wasn't a sequel to this and it's own story but it definitely seemed to take that path of seeing what happened when "Matilda" grew up. Except that it was a different person and all.

I didn't care for it either, but I think that was like his "spiritual sequel" if I recall correctly. So yeah, what you said.
