One thing I noticed while watching this movie today...a detail I never picked up on until now. Zed basically contracted aids while being around Eric. In the scene where Zed wakes up from his brutal French wine hangover, Eric hands Zed a cigarette that he was smoking. Aids can be contracted through saliva. So yeah...Zed now technically has aids.

shareOkay, so I did some research. I guess he couldn't of contracted aids like that. But like you said, at the end with Eric's blood, that's a possibility. Actually, Zoe could've been infected as well, cause it looked like it got in her eyes.
