He was perfect as the bad guy. I was staring at him the whole movie...for some reason he was my favorite character, even though he was the snooty, evil British dude. He's got charm, which makes him even a better bad guy.
Any other thoughts?

My logic is undeniable.
I agree, while his character was suave, charismatic and ambitious, Elwes somewhat managed to make him charming too.

Such a great actor in whatever role he plays! I hated his character in Jungle Book because he played such a great villain. He has great comedic timing which made him great in Robin Hood: Men in Tights and he plays the perfect hero in Princess Bride. He would do well in almost any role!
