Who actually loves this movie? Somehow, it has become the movie that me and my cousins quote the most. BTW, im 20 and I do have good taste in movies (My top 5 being Goodfellas, Good Will Hunting, Cuckoo's Nest, Pulp Fiction, and American History X).

In regards to comedies I love Planes Trains and Automobiles, Stripes, Ridgemont, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

That being said, perhaps its the cheeziness or something, but I truely find this movie enjoyable and decently acted. Ted Danson IS funny in this role, and his two sidekicks are amusing as well.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if no one reads this, the movie doesn't seem to have many fans. :(

You're not the only one. I watched this expecting to dislike it, and I actually enjoyed it. I've seen better, but I have seen much worse as well.

saw this at age 10 with my dad in theater. RIght after my dad had recently split with my mom, was kinda difficult because of the real life feelings, but the movie was great and have always loved it. and i aqree the amusement park scene is best, but the part with Culkin singing and dancing to the classic song is by far the best of the movie.

Although I did not like Glenne Headly in the movie, and also think her as a detective was ridiculous, and the worst part of the movie. It needed this conflict in the movie, but It was the worst part of it i thought.

While I didn't like it (I'd give it a 4.5) I think everyone even those who think they have great taste in film have a few movies that they love even though it's widely considered crap.

For me it's Stop or my Mom will shoot.
