the jon lovitz bit is true, also funny how the original criswell sounds similar to cnn's paula newton, this is not the only post about the lovitz bit on this board. i guess edward d wood jr wouldn't have been as catchy of a title, speaking of catchy, what a great soundtrack, i've never seen opening credits on tombstones before. the costumes review bit reminded of the "family guy" lincoln bit. there are several topics about this being tim burton's greatest movie and underrated and forgotten, i've only seen it air on television once. the dvd of this has loads of bonus material. orson welles really appears dubbed. 🧛 bela, i mean landau, moves great with the octopus 🐙. i have actually enjoyed some real edward d wood jr movies, like "night of the ghouls" featured in elvira's midnight madness collection. weird the movie features the real bela lugosi as well, movies from the time this takes place would never accept the kind of language found in the dialogue of this movie. the "could you please keep it down" line from sarah jessica parker bit was funny, by the way, an alternative movie poster has her removed from it. ed wood: "i need transvestites", bela lugosi: "eddie... what kind of a movie is this?".
