THIS MOVIE WAS FILMED AT MY GRANDPARENTS HOUSE!!!

I have been dying to post this because I always forget, it was so cool to find out. I was only 4 when this was filmed but I watched it a year ago and my dad says" oh ya this was filmed at your opa's house in beconsfeild. It was so sick to cconsider frank langella and edward wer ein the same house I used to sleep at over 3 months a year. They really made the house look different. Both the grandparents who owned the house just died and we sold it a few years ago.

Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear of your losses. This was a favorite film of mine as a kid. I always liked the bedroom that Michael had in the movie. What city, state was the house?

I'm pretty sure it was filmed on Ch Lakeshore in Beaconsfield Montreal. It's right off Rue Lakeshore on Thompson Point. Don't have the exact address. Still have the tennis court in the center of the neighborhood. Would love to have that house. Beautiful location!!

Did the house sell for more than average price, due to the film?

The upstairs attic/bedroom is bigger than my current apartment. It must be nice to be a rich kid. Well, upper-middle... lower-high (oxymoron to me) to where a 16 year-old has a giant studio apartment upstairs as opposed to a *beep* oversized closet called a bedroom...
