…his boss!?
The film started well until that bum note and it was only downhill from there.
His captain was telling him to call in the SWAT team but Axel refused and decided to raid the chop shop with just his small team.
It all goes tits up because they don’t have enough fire power and his boss, a beloved character for a decade, gets shot and killed as a result.
This was a terrible writing decision, and the film doesn’t even reflect on it - wouldn’t Axel be racked with guilt and shame?? Nah, time to head off to a theme park for a very meh ‘adventure’ 🤦🏻♂️
