Transphobic trash!

Should be banned.

Can't believe Amazon Prime still has this for viewing. Even Jim Carrey has distanced himself from this.

Everyone here should watch the Netflix documentary called Disclosure. They discuss this scene and other transphobic scenes in the media.

This is a sarcastic post I hope.

Doubtful. Seems like they're seeking attention because they don't know if they want balls or not.

Jim Carrey is one of my favorite actors of all time but his liberal righteousness and repent about his own movies really annoying. Very funny scenes, I will save the movie before the woke mob will burn it.

reply

His relationship with Jenny McCarthy turned him into a liberal nutjob.

The article mentions a rape scene in Sixteen Candles. I must have missed that.

So much to unpack (or should I say, un-package?) here..

1) 'Trans' isn't real. You can't 'transform' from one gender to another. Even if you could, you would still be the same you, and it would only be your body that changes gender. What would be the point of that EVEN if it was possible? Of course, it's not. Your body doesn't change gender just because you mutilate genitals and pump hormones into it. Brain is always either female or male (more grey or white matter, different size and other details), your thinking and values are always going to be male or female (men can talk harshly about sexual things, women usually gasp at such - I mean, they can, but it's not natural for them. A 'trans woman' that has a female brain, would actually be shocked to listen to men talk about sex and women. An actual man would not (this is a real-world example, by the way!)

2) Even if it was real, a movie can't be 'phobic', because a movie isn't a feeling entity, it can't feel fear, therefore, it can't have phobia(s).

3) Even if it COULD feel and thus have phobias, wouldn't it just stay AWAY from the feared topic instead of DISPLAYING it?

4) Even if it COULD feel and thus have phobias, would it really be SCARED of 'trans'? Why would anyone? What's to fear? The 'phobia' (as in 'homophobic') is just emotionally manipulative rhetoric that has no basis in reality, fabricated to generate immediate reaction against people

5) Even.. (etc.), why would you be so mean and hostile against someone that has a fear-problem? A Phobia is a real thing, it's a problem that can hinder your life. If you have arachnophobia, you can't function well in a situation or place that has a lot of spiders in there. It's best to HELP someone with a phobia, not ATTACK them. Why do you think it's all right to attack someone with a phobia instead of helping them?

6) If a movie is trash, it's trash regardless of its 'transphobia' - this movie is good, so are you seriously calling a good movie trash..

reply

6) (continuing) .. are you seriously calling a good movie trash based on some kind of weird, non-reality-based accusation that comes from trying to shame (or shove) people deep into the weird chasm of virtue-signaling politically-correct madness?

7) What's 'trans' about Einhorn, EVEN if none of my points were valid? If you COULD transform, obviously Finkle DIDN'T transform, because he still has his genitals intact. He's basically a man in disguise, not any of your 'transblah' people.

Are you a disguisophobic? Are you heterophobic? Are you manphobic? See how illogical it is to just slap a phobia on something and expect people to agree with you?

8) EVEN IF this movie was .. let's be kind and say you mean it's "insulting to a group of people" - ok, let's say this movie is EXTREMELY INSULTING to some group that you call 'trans' (transmissionaries? transformers? transistors? translators?), that STILL wouldn't make this movie 'trash', if it's otherwise good.

This is a GOOD movie, and in no way does it deserve your thoughtless politically-correct virtue signaling-based unfair bashing!

Also, WHAT about this movie is so "transphobic" anyway? Is DISPLAYING someone in 'female appearance' that doesn't have female genitals 'phobic' somehow?

Is making a what you call 'trans' the villain of a movie PHOBIC, or could it be seen as actually INCLUSIVE, because it doesn't shy away from showing all kinds of villains instead of just heterosexual white males? Why is equality suddenly a problem?

I mean, specifically, even _IF_ none of my other points were valid, and this movie WAS 'transphobic' (whatever that means), _WHAT_ about it do you think makes it so? Einhorn being a díck, nasty, evil, or crazy? Can't you show a mentally imbalanced people as villains? Are you a schizophobic?!
