Just Watched It Again

And thoroughly enjoyed it. Between this (the 1994 effort) and the 2020 version, IMO, this is by far the better series.

Any other opinions on this?

I haven't seen the remake but I have seen this one twice and like it very much.

It’s brilliant. The remake is, by all accounts, utter dogshit and I have no intention of inflicting it on myself.

Came across this on You Tube and have been rewatching it.

I think it holds up pretty well. Solid cast. Pretty faithful to the book, as I remember it. The TV movie budget holds it back at times.

It was very faithful to the book. That is one of the reasons (although not the only one) that I liked it as much as I did.
