The coffee shop dude would still be white. It would be good to show a white person in an inferior role waiting on the non-binary people of color. But having the white person in a position of employment could be viewed as empowering so even that would be too much.

Maybe a homeless white person outside begging. Along with mobs of white people looting stores because we want it to portray “reality”.

So much racisms would be fixed by such an equitable, diverse and empowering and tv show.

There have been dozens of "Friends" knockoffs from the 90s all the way up to today, and they feature predominantly White.
