I was 20 y/o when this series begun in 1994 and although I watched various episodes intermittently, this is the first time I'm watching it in full. I'm in the middle of Season 2 and am confused why Doug (George Clooney's character) had mentioned twice that he has a son in Season 1 but nothing has been mentioned about him this season...do we ever meet him?

Three years late but I'm watching it now and towards the end of Season 1 Doug is asked about his son and he says he's never met him. So I assumed Doug knocked up a woman and she had the kid and moved on. I'm halfway through Season 2 and it's not brought up again yet.
