Am I the only one who cried for hours after watching this movie. I thought it was so sad. the letter that Adam had written to Carolyn at the end was so sweet. I just love this movie. It's one of my favorite romantic movies of all time!
{ - But WHY is the rum gone??? - } - The one, the only: Captain Jack Sparrow
I got to see this in the theatre with my girlfriend. I could say I embarrsed myself, but I didn't and don't care. When she realizes he is dead, I actually stood up and yelled "Noooooo" at the screen. And then cried like a baby. Now all I have to do is hear Nature Boy/Roger Williams and I get very sad. What a beautifully haunting piece.. I think we get sad because just when things get good, they are taken away. Just like things in my own life. Other movies like this are City of Angels, Leap of Faith, and of course Romeo and Juliet. Even Titanic. I don't know why, but I love movies that make me cry, and I watch this one regularly.
I saw this in '93 on video. This movie affected me so much, I cried for hours after watching it. I've always liked Christian Slater, and I think it's one of his best. You have to see Heathers and True Romance too. They're all very different but must sees. I usually don't like chick flicks either, but I love Untamed Heart and While You Were Sleeping.
