This is my favorite movie ever!

Actually the whole trilogy is pointless, dull and boring (unless you are a chauvinist french that egolatrize your own country).

I am a chauvinist french but i would like you to know that this is done by a Polish filmmaker. This film also is one of the greatest films ever made. The trilogy has changed and inspired all of modern day filmmakers, so you must be a chauvinist American that egolatrize your own country.

Ha ha! The point of White actually, is a critique of chauvinism of certain (what Yanks like to call) "old" European countries. So the only thing without point here is the post of lownoise1976. And Red is set in Switzerland, if I remember correctly. And White is (for the most part) set in Poland.

Yes. I agree with that. It was admirable to beautiful but was too aloof for me.

I think the trilogy as a whole is a high-water mark in the history of cinema.

It's not close to number one on my list. I did think the first half was great. I'm glad I watched it, but "Red" is my favorite from the trilogy, and in my opinion "Double Life of Veronika" is better than any of the trilogy's films.

YES, YES, YES AND YES!!! One of the most interesting trilogy in international cinematography.

Looking at the films Bleu has influenced, i think it goes to show how important its position is in the history of films
