What I mean by this is ''perfection''.
Can you suggest other movies apart from this one (or the other two in the trilogy) that masterfully combine visuals and music in a way that doesn't only titillate the senses, but also stimulate thought? Old, new, foreign, american, doesn't matter.
Also, maybe it is not so bad, but sorry for my english.

shareI would say Cinema Paradiso's kisses montage along with Morricone's score; the Valkyrie scene in Apocalypse Now, the Blue Danube Waltz of 2001, the end of Path's of Glory and the subway scene from Songs from the Second Floor (This last is relatively unknown and the film is rather bizarre, but this moment is breathtaking).

The Italian director and her actually made the film 'around' the music.
The final scene is simply unforgettable in its intensity, both musically and visually, a unity.
