you all notice how the gay movies are always rated way better than they should be. i mean, this movies was mediocre at best. Brokeback Mountain shouldnt have even been nominated for an oscar. (The characters werent believable. Not because they were cowboys, but because of bad acting.) That damn movie "Eating Out." It was like a bad gay porno without the hardcore action.

Maurice is probably the best movie I've ever seen.

First of all, I don't consider SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION a "gay" movie (even if there is such a thing). This movie happens to feature gay characters but it's not "about" homosexuality. And from the highly intelligent comments you have shared regarding what you consider "gay" movies, you just sound like a homophobic idiot anyway.

I agree with the Isaac's5855. This is not a gay movie, not even a pure gay themed one, even if it deals with some themes regarding that genre. It is just the sexual orientation of the lead character and is poorly developed during the movie. The movie is not the biography of its major character but dealing mostly with the lives of the upper class in NY and how they were mixed up by him.

As it concerns the gay themed movies, what originally this post dealt with, i disagree. This genre has good and bad films like every other genre in the movie industry. Of course the movies mentioned as bad gay themed ones initially, may be and may not be. This is quite subjective.

I agree to "beautiful thing" and some other movies mentioned mentioned above as good gay themed ones. I also like "C.R.A.Z.Y." and "Velvet Goldmine" (C.Bale, E. Mc Gregor, Jon Rhyse Mayers) and

a movie nobody mentioned that is not gay themed (as this one here) but according to the creator of this post is a gay movie: My own private idaho. it has 7 as rate by 13000 regist. users.
