Name a better football movie

Friday Night Lights was better (even if it only marginally followed the awesome book on which it was based). Still, Rudy is only just a notch below... similar to Remember the Titans in that both are formulaic, almost cheesy movies that nonetheless rise above the cliches and give you goosebumps at the end. I defy any man (let's face it, woman do not typically get sports movies) to channel surf past the last 10 minutes of Rudy or Remember the Titans and NOT watch them through to the end. Not only is it impossible to not watch, it is also impossible to avoid getting a little teary-eyed, even after many, many, MANY viewings.

Rudy's my favorite sports movie of all time, so its hard for me to say there's another football move that's better.

I'll admit though that "Remember the Titans" is probably a better film, in terms of what critics would use to define a movie's greatness.

But I like Rudy the best. The only other sports movie for me that I think gives it a real run for its money is "Miracle".
