'Dookie and Monster'?

In the scene where Justice (Janet Jackson) tries to get Iesha (Regina King) back into truck after her fight with Chicago, Iesha screams out "I'm gonna get Dookie and Monster to shoot you". Incase anyone doesn't know, Dookie and Monster are the names of two characters from Boyz N The Hood so this could mean that this could be a spin off or something, seeing that both are made by John Singleton and both take place in South Central.

I would agree only except the guy that played rookie was also in poetic Justice in the scene where lucky goes to get his daughter. Before he goes up and talk to tone loc, he stops and talks to the guys in the car and dookie is the guy he was talking to.
