I thought Kevin Costner gave an amazingly nuanced performance in this movie. It wrung my heart! Great story - great acting. Clint Eastwood directed, and yet it was never given the accolades it deserved.

Yeah I agree this was pretty great. Between this and In the Line of Fire Eastwood had a hell of a year in 93.

This is one of the great underrated movies.
