Do You think Jennifer is ashamed of this movie

I think that she would because before her career launched she was forced to do this. I hope not because she didn't do bad in this film I enjoyed her.

I've read a few places that she's denied involvement in the movie when asked. So probably.

"Haven't they replaced you with a coin-operated machine yet?"

reply

Uhhhhh. Jennifer doesn't deny shes in the movie. She was asked about it in a interview with Owen Wilson for Marley & Me and he answered the question with "Everyone makes bad movies, look at Anaconda". Type in Jennifer Anistion Leprechaun in youtube. I however love LEPRECHAUN!!!! Anaconda wasn't bad either? I like these campy little stories.

reply

It's not like she was ever a prolific actress in the first place. I'll say this was actually her best role.

You love me more than sunny summer days.

reply

Why would she be this movie was awesome and loved by everyone.

reply

Her more recent films are much worse than this. She should be ashamed of those.

reply

I, too, also remember readin or watching somewhere that she cringes whenever somebody brings it up. So I would say she is. However, I saw Movie 43 last night & that was MUCH worse

reply

I'm sure she would rather forget about it.

Can you quack like a duck when you suck?

reply

Nothing wrong with being in a fun horror film :). Nobody thinks less of her as an actor because of it! I could understand that she wanted to ignore it, and having Leprechaun on your resume when you go for roles must be crappy , but she's had a career. No reason to still ignore it. She should do a commentary for a future release.

reply

Yeah, honestly I think if I got my start in a cheesy horror movie, I don't think I would be ashamed. I think I would take pride in it.

If he is ashamed of it, she shouldn't be. No it isn't a masterpiece of cinematic art, but I don't think it's supposed to be. It's supposed to be a fun, entertaining, silly little horror movie and that it is. I haven't seen it since I was in about the 2nd grade so I gave it a second watch today and found it just as enjoyable today as it was then. It was great fun to watch and to be honest, I'd probably rather watch it than any other title in her filmography.

Death lives in the Vault of Horror!

reply

I agree with horror2.

I mean, why does she need to be embarrassed? She's had a successful career since Leprechaun. It's not like she tried to be an actress, was in this, and then did nothing for the rest of her career.

Besides, Leprechaun is actually an entertaining movie. It's not supposed to be Shakespeare. Nobody is watching this as high-brow entertainment. It's supposed to be silly and fun. I'm sure there are many actors who appeared in worse films than this as their debut.

reply

Yeah Jaws and The Exorcist, while embraced in the Horror genre these days, at the time they weren't really considered legit "horror" movies.

reply

i'm sorry. FORCED to do this? smh
