Please tell me I'm not the only one who cries at at this movie!! I cry more than once at various points in the film....
1) when shadow wants to run after the car but then repeats Peter command of "stay"
2)when Sassy is reunited with the dogs after bring thrown over the waterfall
3) when the little girl is reunited with her parents
4) when Shadow finally shows up at the end of the movie....
What other parts make you cry?
Shadow, when he first realizes he is being left on the ranch and again at the end when Peter was saying "He was just too old, it was just too far."

Now, nearly every scene with Shadow makes me cry. He reminds me so much of my Golden Retriever who passed away last year due to cancer.
Chance reminds me of my new Golden Retriever, too. I had both dogs for a time before the old one passed away so their relationship in the movie reminds me of both dogs. My new Golden is energetic, outgoing, and curious every bit as Chance!
Now this movie will forever remind me of two dogs I have/had. I am forever doomed to watch this movie with the water works on, I am afraid!
When my daughter asked if she could watch it (just kidding).
