Anyone else thinks that this is better than 'Face/off' ?
I don't know why, i like Hard Target way more than "Face/off", anyone else thinks the same ?
This is my favorite John Woo movie made in USA.

I really like Hard Target.
I've never liked Face/Off.
Would the answer to the question be what the Americans call a "No Brainer"?

"face/off" is way too long, but it's got much better dialogue/character banter, and the hilarious over-the-top performances of both cage and travolta

Yes, I think "Hard Target" is much, much better! "Face/Off" had some really fun performances. But, the action scenes were overwrought and uninspired. Plus, the whole premise is patently silly! Woo deserved a much better script than he was given in "Face/Off!"
"Hard Target" uses its great locations to excellent effect, it's tight and efficient, and has some truly great action sequences!
Not sure....
Cannot even compare them IMO, both are 10/10, HARD TARGET is more "fun", FACE/OFF shows more "sophistication"....

Agreed, Hard Target is much more enjoyable movie. Lance Henriksen is a better actor than John Travolta and the cool Cajun vibe in Hard Target is better than the slick 1990s explosion fest of Face/Off.
Sure, Hard Target is cheesy as you like, but it's a classic pure action film.

They're too different films. Hard Target is a fun, no brainer actioner while Face/Off is a flashy, character driven thriller. I think Face/Off is a better made film but Hard Target has better action. The action in Hard Target felt more like Woo's earlier work while in Face/Off is was too flashy and felt too Westernised. They're both good films IMO, but for different reasons.
shareI agree .
Who are they? And what do they want?
