things i have learned from watching this movie

1) Jean Claude Van Dam would rather waste endless amounts of ammunition shooting bad guys in the chest rather than shooting them in the head.

2) you can KO a snake by punching it in the face.

3) you can kill a man by standing on his collarbone and applying pressure.

4) electricity from a fuse in a grenade can jump a 2 inch gap.

5) John Woo uses slow motion way to much in his movies.

6) birds don't fly away when gun shots are fired, but they do when overweight henchmen in horrid shirts with cigars in their mouths do.

reply

1) It is best to waste multiple bullets on baddies and just in case finish them off with vicious roundhouse kicks

2) The city of New Orleans is always empty in the afternoons

3) And the police never seem to be around

You don't have to have sights on your handgun when it shoots huge .45-70 Buffalo Rifle rounds.

Pump action shotguns Pwn fully automatic scoped rifles EVERY time.

A trained Military Veteran doesn't know how to handle a tricked out M16 as well as a rich wimp.

When hunting people, the best weapons are airguns that shoot arrows, not military grade sniper rifles, assault rifles, nearly infinate ammo submachine guns, or Berettas.

Belgians with French/Cajun accents are Hard to Understand, not just Hard Targets

-Elijah wasn't very fond of the homeless shelter's "Wednesday meatloaf".
-If you hurt Van Cleaf's feelings, he'll cut your ear off.
-That thug should have taken his pigstick -and his boyfriend- and found a bus to catch.

It's better to cut a moneybelt off a corpse than to use the buckle. Cause that's just way more badass.

If JCVD comes to your rescue you will be safe sitting in your convertable even if the top is down.

You can beat up JCVD but you can't mess up his mullet, no matter how hard you try.

*Even though it's the Louisiana summer, about 102 degrees and humid, everyone from hitmen to cops to poor people are wearing jackets and long pants all the time.

*If you're running from some psychos in a big city, every door you try to open will be locked.

*Any pinhead can take a target from the air. Chasing them through the bayou is more fun.

*This is New Orleans, not Beirut.

I'm suprised nobody thought of these ones:

1. Chance got his name from his momma because "she took one".

2. After taking a beating from Van Cleef, the last thing you want is for him to cut himself a steak out of your ass if he, menacingly, decides to return to your office/residence the next time...especially after cutting off your ear with a pair of scissors.

3. After not seeing your old childhood shotgun for many years, it's important to have a 'bonding' moment with it in front of people...while blowing dust off the barrel in slow motion.

4. Old fat French uncles look pretty heroic riding off on a horse from their cottage/house exploding behind them...especially while bad guys are shooting at him a few seconds later.

What do you think?

You can walk through miles and miles of open country and swamps in sweltering conditions wearing several thick coats and not be dripping in sweat

A man being hunted down for his life by killers carrying a large array of automatic weapons will not make more attempt to notify/alert anyone once he reaches a busy urban area. He will just try to get into one bar and when unsuccessful, give up and allow himself to be killed in the middle of the street.

A busy street with nightclubs and bars will be bustling with people, But these people will then completely vanish once someone has been shot in front of them and the area will fall into complete darkness and silence.

Police detectives hand out copies of coroner reports to complete strangers.

No marks, wounds, or injuries of any kind will appear on someones neck who just got strangled tightly from behind by a thick rough rope for several seconds

Shooting someone in the head at point blank range with a shotgun will not alert anyone working or living nearby and the street will be deserted allowing the killer to stand around casually for as long as he needs

Despite there being no trails or paths in miles of vast woodland that all looks the same, the people following you will just happen to walk past the exact same part that you left a snake trap for them, and even step under the exact same tree.

A woman who looked scared of her own shadow at the beginning of the movie will have no problem handling guns, jumping from bridges onto moving trains, shooting someone, being shot at, and walking into the middle of buildings where large gun fights are going on by the end of the movie

The natural reaction to a grenade about to go off in your face is "oops"

Hunting season is over.

Poor people get bored too.

Professionals don't get angry.

WHAT DON'T YOU FVCKING UNDERSTAND?!?!

reply

- Woo is a kick-ass director.
- Van Damme can't pronounce "wallet"; he CAN blink though. (Just kidding! Love him)
- Fire might not work sometimes.
