Murray is so talentless and boring...

I absolutely disagree here, he is funny and he has talent. Most probably the ladies do not think he is handsome, but that is not important.

He seems to play unsavory characters fairly well but yeah, he's not an actor, he's a movie star. There is a difference. He's pretty good in comedies though, which don't require a lot of good acting.

As far as his looks go... hard to judge unless you're a woman. I've never heard any women say he's unattractive. Opinions vary, I suppose..

I find him funny in his comedies. Though I did find him boring in Lost in Translaton. But that movie was boring in general.

He walks around like he has a 10-foot stick up his ass.

That's why he works so well in this film. If he were more upbeat and outgoing it would ruin the purpose of the film. We are meant to be seeing a man who is very tired and jaded, depressed start learning how to live. If he was good looking it would have made it easier for him to pick up women as well which means he wouldn't have to slowly get to know women through a series of face slaps and stupid questions.
