Do you think Jones deserved the Oscar for BSA?

Too bad Val Kilmer wasn't even nominated for his work in Tombstone, which was seen by many as a major snub. Jones did really well but out of all the noms, I think I would have gone with Fiennes.

Leonardo DiCaprio - What's Eating Gilbert Grape

Ralph Fiennes - Schindler's List

John Malkovich - In the Line of Fire

Pete Postlethwaite - In the Name of the Father

I was never as impressed with this movie as others seem to be, a good watch I guess

I would have chosen Fiennes over Jones also

I really like this film but Fiennes should have got it. No amount of "Tommy Lee Jones ad-libbed a lot of his dialogue in this" has ever convinced me that it's an Oscar worthy performance.
