Qaulen was obviously gay

Not a good anti-hero. Good movie though. But gay guys as villains, let them stick to running dress shops and hair places.

Not really sure what to say about this. What would make you think he's gay. Wasn't he romantically involved with the blonde woman?

Herbert West: Who's going to believe a talking head? Get a job in a sideshow.

reply

The blonde woman he casually shoots in the back three times like she was nothing..?

Also, this dialogue: 'You just don't get it, do you Travers? We're in bed now, joined at the hip, partners in crime. You've crossed over Travers, and there's no crossing back!'

Qualen was gay as you like - look at the camp way he removes his gloves or scarf, his constant mincing, camp speaking manner and the sense that he was grooming Hal to be part of his gang of gay mountain villains.

don't mind him, some insane people are just obsessed about worrying about the great gay menace everywhere...

'The great gay men-ass'. Qualen's first album.

All the wit of backwoods 1970s Arkansas folk .

'1970s Arkans ass-folk' Captain Wesker's first album.

reply

You're slipping, buddy. Why you traded in that witty rapier for a sack of mud is beyond me.

qualen and his team were great bad guy. lithgow is great man. he would have make good bond villain.

travers was funny. the limey we loved to hate. the token who get impale. great stuff!

reply

It’s was a very diverse group of villains to be fair. Qualen was very progressive.

Qualen - homosexual
Kristel - woman
Delmar - working class Cockney footballer
Kynette - urban black guy prone to knife crime
Travers - brought his Southern charm

The film has quite a conservative message actually. The lives of our heroes living their wholesome rural existence are torn apart when a team of urbane, diverse city-folk crash land on their mountain and start killing everyone.

reply

you could be right drooch. poofs, white trash, drive by shooter, tough woman. qualen's gang are obviously all libtarded!

and the diverse city folk throw a wounded comrad out of airplanes just because they dont want to help. this is just like in di crapio film about leftist commys called' the beach', when one of the libtard get leg eaten by shark and the head libtard tell them to just leaves them to die outside of camp! rules for thee but not for me!

reply

I dont think you should take Drooch's reply as an RSVP to your gay/black/mysogenistic libtard hate fest
