With Gale dancing on a beach side (presumably in the Bahamas) to the tune of live music as the sun sets on Carlito's life. Obviously, an idealized vision of a dying man for the kind of life he wanted for his family. But a life he will never get to see.

I think almost everyone received their "just desserts". Except Benny Blanco. It would have been gratifying if they showed someone taking revenge on Carlito, like in the end credits or something. Though that probably would have been a counterproductive message to the movie's narrative.
I was under the impression Gail and Benny left together and moved to the Bahamas with Benny being the stepdad to Carlitos baby
