Didn’t it seem like Quisqueya’s crew were oblivious or too complacent that Guajiro was about to be robbed and have his throat cut?

I love Carlito’s way and not trying to nitpick but it seems odd that the two guys playing pool with Carlito would be so complacent moments before and during a robbery/murder.
One of the guys knew a dude was in the bathroom, so at least one of them was aware shit was about to go down, so what, were they just imbeciles or something?
Or perhaps they were overly confident, idk, it’s a great scene, and I love so much about it, I just struggle with the two crew members being so oblivious.

Watching it right now for the umpteenth time (thankfuly in glorious 4K this time around)
IMO, the whole vagueness of the scene can be left open to interpretation.
It wasn't necessarily a 'given' that the two guys playing pool were anything other than lackeys (or at best armed, back-up 'muscle') in a barbershop backroom, simply there to give off a vibe of normality (rather much like the two chicks dancing round the jukebox)

To me, it seemed the the black guy (Quisqueya?) and the guy hiding in the bathroom, were the main players in this 'sting'.
Maybe any complacency on display, was either a critique that crime had gotten even more 'disorganized' during carlito's incarceration...or brash indifference/confidence, likely due to Guajiro's boss being killed earlier day (unbeknownst to him)
After all, Quisqueya had no idea Carlito was going to be accompanying his cousin...so I don't think it would have required 4 (already armed) guys to take on Guajiro?

I too, hate to nitpick this classic...but my one gripe would be that the two aforementioned girls (dancing round the jukebox) vanish as soon as the carnage starts (like literally 'disappear'?)
